An experienced licensed dentist (and a local RN) will assist with such procedures. The samples of blood will be collected in vials for use with centrifugation followed by handling techniques to simulate the clinical preparation just prior to a clinical use.  We will discuss best practices for disposal of biological waste\, as well. \nCOURSE OBJECTIVES\n\nUnderstand the science of blood derivatives involved with clinical applications in dentistry\nUnderstand the process of venipuncture and centrifugation of blood\nUnderstand patient management of related procedures\nExperience and demonstrate venipuncture\nLearn the techniques in handling blood samples and the fibrin manipulation\nLearn the safe handling of biological waste\n\nABOUT THE SPEAKER\nDr. Stephen E.
