ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Dr. Stephen Lockwood DMD, MAGD
Dr. Stephen E. Lockwood graduated from UC Irvine before attending from Oral Roberts University, School of Dentistry. He joined the AGD and ADA as a dental student in 1982. After earning his DMD (’84) he entered a one-year GPR program at Loma Linda VA Hospital. After a three-year associateship he opened his private practice in La Jolla, CA (’89) where he currently practices comprehensive dentistry with an emphasis in Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Implant Dentistry. In 2017, he merged his practice with Dr. Stephen Eskeland where they are now partners of Regents Dental Group. Both doctors have earned their Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Having earned his Fellowship (’88), Mastership (’03), and Lifelong Service & Recognition (LLSR ’11) through the AGD, Dr. Lockwood attended the Implant Maxi-course at LLU and earned his Associate Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) the following year (’11). In 2018, he was selected by the American College of Dentists as a Fellow.
Dr. Lockwood served as San Diego component (SDAGD) President and California AGD President. Dr. Lockwood has written several clinical articles for GP News (CAGD Newsletter) and has lectured on topics related to laser dentistry, implant dentistry, and venipuncture/L-PRF grafting. In his spare time, he is the principal trumpeter for the Coronado Concert Band and plays with The Immaculata Church choir on the University of San Diego campus.

Since then, he has grown the practice from a two-person operation into a thriving team that includes multiple associate doctors and hygienists, known for its commitment to modern, patient-centered care and sustainable growth. His clinical interests and practice philosophy center on delivering comprehensive, high-quality dentistry built on trust, precision, and personalized care.

- A $25 non-refundable processing fee applies to all registrations.
- Refunds (minus the $25 fee) will be issued only for cancellations submitted via email at least 14 days prior to the course date.
- No refunds will be granted for cancellations made within 14 days of the course.
- Registration transfers (changing the attendee name) will not be accepted for this event.
