Course Objectives
- Restorative Dentistry with Rodin Sculpture:
– Morning didactic session: Inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers, and temporary restorations (4-Hours Lecture)
– Afternoon hands-on printing; denture staining/glazing, and processing / postprocessing session (3-Hours Hands-On)
- Denture & Partial Denture Techniques:
– Impression techniques
– Duplication methods
– Identifying and correcting teeth try-in errors
– Hands-on session: Printing dentures, teeth, and bases; staining/glazing
- 3D Printing Basics:
– Understanding the possibilities
– Material handling, processing, and finishing
– Afternoon hands-on session for practical application
About the Speaker
Dr. Chonway Tram is a privately practicing dentist in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. His practice is focused primarily on
cosmetics and implantology via CAD/CAM and 3D printing. A former 2007 graduate of Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry, Dr. Tram completed a surgical-based GPR at St. Barnabas Hospital following dental school and is a former assistant professor at Western University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tram is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and has completed Advanced Implant Training with the Global Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Tram currently lectures on digital technology implementation with interest in implants, CAD/CAM and 3D printing.
