ABOUT THE COURSE
BOTOX THERAPY has numerous applications in everyday dentistry. When Botox is used to treat dental conditions, an additional benefit often includes the smoothing of certain facial wrinkles. Your California dental license allows you to administer botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for various dental-related treatments.
Note: All dentists registering for this course must submit a copy of their current California Dental License.
After registering, please email your license copy to Avani at avani@cagd.com.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course provides comprehensive training on botulinum toxin (Botox) therapy in dentistry, including its history, dosage preparation, and detailed injection techniques. You’ll learn how to effectively treat a variety of dental-related conditions, such as TMJ disorders, muscle spasms, bruxism, aesthetic lip repositioning, smile contouring, and associated migraine relief. The curriculum also covers informed consent, clearly outlining the risks, benefits, and alternatives (RBAs), while addressing common areas of confusion regarding Botox use by dental professionals.
Discover how Botox can transform smiles—reducing gummy smiles and preventing bruxism!
