Adhesive Dentistry: Materials & Techniques for Your Practice (Webinar)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Selecting and utilizing adhesive materials in the modern restorative practice can be confusing and overwhelming. In this course, we will review many of the contemporary dental materials available and review various techniques in an evidence-based and unbiased manner.

This course will be offered via Zoom, which is available on all major computers and phones.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

• Understand the various adhesive materials available, including bonding agents, composites and cements
• Identify when and where various materials should be utilized
• Learn techniques for predictable and successful treatment outcomes

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Marc Hayashi is an assistant clinical professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry in the Section of Restorative Dentistry. He received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. He also completed a GPR at the LAC+USC Medical Center, followed by an additional year of training at the Sepulveda VA Ambulatory Care Center. He later earned his MBA from the Graziadio Business School of Pepperdine University.

Dr. Hayashi currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Section of Restorative Dentistry and the Director of Clinical Education for Restorative Dentistry at UCLA. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, a past President of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society, and was elected as the Alumni and Friends Presidential Endowed Chair at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He has authored multiple publications, serves as a reviewer in multiple peer reviewed journals and has lectured both nationally and internationally. Dr. Hayashi currently practices in the UCLA Faculty Group Dental Practice and conducts dental materials research.
